Happy New Year!!!

Ok, so I am a little late. In my defense, we did have a busy holiday season. Christmas wasn't as hectic as in past years, which was great especially because we have two little ones now. So, before Christmas I was totally not in the spirit of it at all, but waking up on Christmas morning with the kids was so fun this year. We didn't go overboard this year, the kids got a couple of toys from us but nothing over the top and we only bought a few things for each other. To me the most important part of the Christmas season is spending time with family and we did a lot of that! On Christmas eve, we spent the day with my family at my brother's house. We had a great meal, and the kids got spoiled by Nanny and Poppy as usual! Grace had her first taste of veggies, green beans that I made just for her, and she really seemed to like them! On Christmas morning we spent some time at home and then headed out to Grandma and Grandpa's in Hamilton. It was a fun day of gifts and food, even though for some reason the turkey didn't cook all the way through. I'll have to continue on tomorrow as both kids have woke up early from their naps and aren't too happy!
